Job Description:
St.
Andrew's School seeks part-time coaches for the 2023-2024 season in the following sports:
Football Soccer Basketball Wrestling Tennis Lacrosse Baseball St.
Andrew's was founded almost a century ago with an unprecedented approach to financial aid and has a long-standing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Coaches report to the Director of Athletics.
The successful coach will instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary to realize a high level of individual and team success.
Instruction should lead to improved ability in the sport as well as good sportsmanship, self-discipline, self-confidence, and a sense of pride in the student-athletes accomplishments.
Weekday and weekend practices, as well as games, will be required.
Candidates are expected to have coaching or playing experience at the high school level or beyond.
Duties include practice planning, training, game strategy, and administration.
Conditions of Hire:
A thorough background check, inclusive of fingerprinting and a Child Protection Registry Check, is required as a condition of employment.
Applicant must complete satisfactory reference checks, confirmation of compliance with federal and state employment laws, and any other required condition of employment.
